PvPGym Smooth Combat Update
Hello everyone, I am excited to announce that we have deployed a new update to address a lot of the complaints about the combat feeling from the last weeks.
With the previous introduction of our new knockback, we had added back the Vanilla movement delay as we saw that it allowed for better combos. This delay was originally removed during Season 3. However, I was unaware that it would not only affect knockback, but would also add approximately 50ms delay to everything including hits, knockback, rods, pots, dodging arrows and much more.
This change has now finally been reverted meaning that there is no more delay! Additionally, as requested by our player base, we have adjusted projectile velocities so that rods, potions, snowballs etc. would fly with the exact same speed as on MMC. Moreover, we removed all randomizations from projectiles included in the Vanilla code. Last but not least, we will soon remove TCPshield and switch to another provider, which will fix the ping spikes that some of you have been experiencing. We will update you with another announcement when that has happened.
