It is my pleasure to present the major update coming to PvPGym with the release of Season X. This new season will also mark the return of our NA Proxy and the introduction of cash prizes! Arena Season X For this release, we have spent countless hours on adjusting our PvP meta in order to decrease the advantage of high CPS players. Therefore, we have created a new knockback, which includes the same mechanisms as MMC's - I can promise that it will be nothing like any experimental knockback we have used before. Moreover, we have removed ghost crits and capped the amount of blockhits per fight to 20. If you exceed that amount in a given fight, blockhitting will no longer reduce damage. Of course blocking normally will always work. Additionally, downrank and uprank matches have been removed to prevent their systematic abuse and ELO inflation. Finally, we have added a new map pool for NoDebuff, Boxing, Sumo and Spleef. You can access a complete list of updates in <#741309349745655890>. Website 2.0 We have also been working on a huge update to our website. Not only will there be a complete design overhaul but we have also improved player profiles by adding match history, ELO graphs, and much more! On top of that, we implemented new Staff and Media pages as well as a ban list! Release Date The official release of Season X will be this Saturday, January 7th, at 18:00 CET!
